FJAAK is a prominent electronic music producer team based in Berlin, Germany, renowned for their impactful contributions to the techno and broader electronic music landscape. The project originally formed as a quartet, with its name deriving from the initials of its four founding members: Felix Wagner, Johannes Wagner, Aaron Röbig, and Kevin Kozicki. The lineup evolved over time; Johannes Wagner departed in the early stages to focus on his studies, and in January 2019, Kevin Kozicki also left to pursue a solo career. Since then, FJAAK has continued as the dynamic duo it is today. Known for delivering driving, high-energy electronic productions, often characterized by a raw and rhythmic intensity, FJAAK has cultivated a distinct presence through a consistent output of releases. Beyond their own musical creations, they actively shape the contemporary scene by running their own independent record labels. Their FJAAK imprint launched in 2018, followed by SPANDAU20 in 2020, serving as crucial platforms for their own work and that of emerging talents. This commitment to artistic independence, alongside releases on respected external labels such as Monkeytown Records, Klasse Recordings, and Baalsaal Records, highlights their established role and ongoing influence within the global electronic music community.
